Hello,
I am Catherine from US. My life is running smoothly, as I had gone to
India for a Gastric Bypass Surgery, a couple of months before. It's a
miracle! I was 300 pounds, surviving at diet pills, steroids, diet
programs etc. I had tried all weight loss treatments, gone to several
doctors, but I was the same just as I was. I hesitate to see myself in
mirror and the hardest, I never felt womanly. I was becoming just like a
big drum. I had tried all the things that people suggested me. But the
weight would come back, often more than I had lost. I was so depressed.
My dear ones said to do some thing about my obese figure.

After some days, I thought that why should I not go to a surgeon? May be he can
suggest something! I went and got an appointment with him. I discussed all my
problems with him, about my lack of confidence, self-esteem due to obesity. After
acquainted with my situation, he suggested me to take a Gastric Bypass Surgery. This
was the only permanent solution of my problem. The cost he told seemed to be high
and unaffordable to me. (The cost was 9000 $ USD) I thought that I won't be able to
take this surgery. But my surgeon told me that there are other alternatives also.

He suggested me to get Gastric Bypass surgery in India by recommending a famous
medical tourism company known as Tour2india4health that provides best medical
healthcare facilities at an exclusively low cost. I send an e-mail to that medical
tourism company. And to my surprise, the very next morning, I received a response
e-mail from them. Then I made a call on their number that was given in their details
and expressed my interest to get the Gastric Bypass Surgery in India at an
affordable cost. They offered me a medical treatment tour at an appealing price
quote which had been arranged by them. They explained me the whole details of this
surgery like who will be the surgeon, where will be I treated. After this, I gave my
consent to their offer. They arranged visa, flight, and hotel for me.

When I came to India their representatives received me with a warm and hearty
welcome. They dropped me at their booked hotel. Next day I went to meet the surgeon
who was treating me and he discussed all the procedure with me. He prepared me
mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. After having a talk with him, I
was quite confident about the surgery. On 11 June 2005, I had my surgery, I was a
little bit nervous also, but the wish to have a beautiful figure, I ever dreamed
off, made me strong again, and I made it within myself that everything will be fine.
The surgery was successful and all went well. Thank God! I was lucky that I had no
side effects by this surgery. Some minor problems occurred such as indigestion etc
but after few days everything was fine with me. The doctors had advised me to drink
plenty of water. There is a strict schedule that should be followed by every
patient, so I did.

You won't believe it, after this surgery, I had lost 150 pounds in a couple of
months! I thanked to God and of course to that medical tourism company. After the
surgery, I also visited some worth seeing places of India under the holiday tour
package offered by the medical tourism company. The representatives of the medical
tourism company also arranged my return journey to US. I will always remain grateful
to them. And now I am very happy with my figure and above all, feeling womanly. Now
I am dealing with a new person in the mirror. Now I participate in all social
activities with any hesitation. I have discovered a "NEW ME".

If you are willing to take this surgery then you should consult your surgeon first,
whether it is right for you or not because you should be well prepared for it. Every
surgery have some risks but after reading about me, I think that all of you have got
a perfect idea about an abroad surgery. But for me, Gastric Bypass Surgery in India
was a boon.
